Dr. Williams and others who may know. I have a little guy here
that has lost a little weight, I began to check him out, gums,
etc. and noticed that he has a raw spot inside the top of his
mouth. He is eating the duck soup fine. I'm sure his other food
hurts him to eat it. What I would like to know is, what could this
raw spot be? Would Amoxi-drops help this or is there another
antibiotic that would be better for this particular thing? I have
seen it in a couple of others in the past, but never knew exactly
what it was. The others had stomach ulcers.

Thanks so much

sue & the fuzzies

While I am a lowly shelter mom I would recommend a vet check and
blood panel to check for kidney function. This could be an oral
tumor or the signs of advanced kidney / liver disease. Please
consider a vet check and blood profile.
