Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] removing both adrenals

I agree wholeheartedly with you Mary. After doing many many adrenal
surgeries and seeing the other adrenal go bad, we have chosen to have both
adrenals removed. Why subject the ferret to the stress of two surgeries. At
the present time I have one on florinef and one on pred. The others are
doing just fine with no hormone replacement.
