Hi Dr.Williams,

Re:Your reply to me about my ferret with the high T.P. (11.6)

"Julie - I think that may be the highest I have ever seen a TP go. I
couldn't think of any other possibilities..... Should tissue become
available on him in the future, I would appreciate the opportunity to
evaluate it.

If there are any others at home, better check them as well, and
unfortunately, you can't bring any new ones in."

As soon as we found Snoopy to be postive we tested all the others, so far
all 14 of them are negative. I was sure my old timer, whose cage he is next
to would be positive, she had a T.P. of 8.3, but her ADV was negative, so I
am wondering if in her case the high TP could be due to her failing kidneys
(her BUN is really high) and she is receiving sub q fluids.

I will keep your request for tissue samples on Snoopy in mind, so far he
seems to be doing better, though.

Thanks again for your help.

Julie
