Interesting - sounds like the "old-time" ADV we used to see - one or
two sporadic cases, rather than the shelter-wide outbreaks which are
currently de rigeur.

However, renal failure does not result in a high protein - if
naything protein may be lower than normal, and sugq fluids would only
serve to diute further. (there is no protein in Ringer's lactate.)
