Subject: Re: ECE can be eliminated forever! Wishful thinking or a
fact?

I can tell you first hand what a totally devastating thing it is to
have a large group infected at one time after years of complacency
and a 'it won't happen to me' attitude. The huge investment of time,
energy, and money needed to keep them properly supported, fed,
cleaned, hydrated, and alive can be overwhelming.

It almost killed my wife and I keeping 10 house fuzzies alive through
the longest 2 months of my life, four more before complete recovery.
That was over year ago, and we are still affected by echoes of those
days still today.

Nobody loves or cares for their ferrets more than Karen and myself
(this is of course a very personal opinion), way past the point of
obsession. There is no silver bullet. There is no hiding from it
(ECE), when it does visit your household. All you can do is suck it
up, feed and hydrate on schedule, and don't for any reason, ever give
up....
but don't for a single minute believe it can't happen to you.

I want to thank you Dr. Williams for being the professional, and
(more importantly), the person that you are.
