Subject: Question to Dr Williams: Copper levels
Hi Dr. Williams;
Could make comment on copper levels found in the liver(?) of ferrets?
Our shelter has had a few ferrets that have supposedly high copper
levels and I would like to know if this is diet related, or something
else. Where does the copper come from and why does it stay in the body?
Also, a fellow volunteer at our shelter asked if Gripe water, for human
babies, would be beneficial for use in ferrets for stomach upsets and
such. I hadn't a clue...
