Well, yes, there is one - but it can only be run on formalin-fixed
intestinal tissue, which means that a biopsy is required. Plus, we
don't run them on demand, but only in batches.
Our lab is currently looking at the economical feasiblity of making
this test commercially available, but we are still doing some of the
groundwork first to see if the information gained (via simply looking
at an intestinal biopsy) is worth the extra expense.
