We use Florinef because it is more easily controlled should it not be
quite right for an individual given that it is not a long-term
injection. Our primary consideration for Steve and me as non-vets
would be individual variation of the ferret himself or herself. Some
don't do as well as would be liked on Florinef but do well on
Percorten, as others here will attest, and I expect that works in
reverse, too. We have been very happy with Florinef, and her behavior
and electrolyte ratio tests show that Ashling currently thrives on it.
