Dear Tamara - By any chance was Hobbes a whole male who was neutered or
recently neutered by the shelter?? If so, his testosterone levels might not
have dropped yet. It takes 5-7 weeks after surgery. And his marking new
terretory would be normal. Also, a 4 pounder eats and drinks a lot more to
maintain himself then a smaller ferret would. If this is not the case, then
