Patty,
My vet said he's had a lot of success with this
drug with cats and thought it MIGHT help Champ. I
didn't question how he originally decided to try
this drug for an appetite stimulant but I would
think he got the idea somewhere. He normally
doesn't prescribe drugs without some basis for
doing so.
Hopefully some of the vets on the List will
comment on the use of this drug for an appetite
stimulant.
