From my understanding, and please anyone jump in here, but the answer
would be both! It takes less of the vegetable protein to be bad and
they are less well equipped to process it, but the overall protein
number is important too. So you want to basicly restrict the total
protein while trying to make sure that the bulk of what remains is
from animal sources.

If anyone knows of any studies or has any more information please
post it.
