One of my friend's ferret Timmy has EE and even after the regular drugs were
used on Timmy, Pred, ect. nothing seemed to work, until one of the shelter
mom's in Colorado suggested she try Chloramphenicol, along with the pred.
and that was the drug that changed Timmy from almost dieing to now doing much
better and has gained lots of weight with a Ferret soup of Chicken, turkey,
Iams kitten food, kibbles and Similac with soy protein in it. I would give
it a try.
