Subject: concerned about high glucose
I was wondering if a ferret can have a high glucose with insulinoma.
My ferret Bo had a CBC done about two months ago and his blood
glucose was 175. That seemed high to me but my vet didn't say
anything. He had eaten about 2-3 hours before the test was done, I
think. (He ate at 6am-the test time was around 8:30am) I have never
heard of a high glucose in insulinoma. I would appreciate any
thoughts. Thank you. :-)
