Interesting. We have not had that puddling problem with our paper
(the regular NY Times sections), but I think we'll at least put paper
towels on top next time to make it even better. I wonder if the
newspaper near you uses paper with a tighter weave or a clay content?
(Paper grades with clay tend to also feel denser and have more
reflectivity.)
