Subject: Tooth Problem
Hi guys,
I just sent Michelle a response on the tooth situation because I have the same problem going on with a recent rescue of mine. His bottom jaw is off and it is causing his bottom "big" tooth to poke into his upper lip and there is a hole in it. I don't know what to do. The vet said I could make a surgery appointment for him to shave it but you have to be careful not to shave too far or he could lose the tooth...he said pulling it could cause a broken jaw. This was my first trip to this vet and I did not get any other opinions. I am having a hard time finding a vet in my area that knows about ferrets so, any help would be wonderful. These three rescues are the ones I am having ear mite problems with too...I have had them on Tresaderm for a bit over 2 weeks now and they still have the mites which are more than likely passed on to my original 2 fuzzies. Any more advice on that new ear mite medicine that was mentioned before?
Thanks,
Megan
