Meant to address the drug-induced possibility also:
Pippen had recieved 0.5 Pediapred at 9:00am as insulinoma was
suspect. The 487 glucose reading was 12 hours later at 9:00pm after a
3 hour fast (and a trip to town for test strips). The vet didn't
feel that the half mil of pred was sufficient to account for such a
high glucose level.
I couldn't tell you, just right off hand, if insulin was tested...
isn't that additional to the CBC? But I'll check with the vet & let
you know.
