Jess, you say that she is a blaze (white head or forehead stripe).
Is
she perhaps deaf or partly deaf? Either can make training more
complicated, but less frustrating once found and worked around.
Have
you tried her out for hearing in general, or for pitches?

Sukie, I think you may have misunderstood Jess's question. The
ferret that
she is having trouble with is Cleo, the one she already has, and
the new
kit she is going to get is the blaze. I know the new kit that she
is going
to get, it's from me. She is a rescue and she is a blaze and I
have checked
her hearing and it is fine. She doesn't miss a thing. She has a
twin
brother that also hears everything too. I will be placing her with
Jess
some time in may or early June, (after her ADV. test comes back).
Hopefully
it will come back negative, there are 8 others in this bunch and
all were
tested last Thursday. I think Cleo is a sable ferret. Hope this
cleared
things up.
