Subject: Fwd: [Ferret-Health-list] Treatment with Modrenal ???
Good Luck with your covey of clever ones, and the new medication treatment
you and your vet decided upon. One of my ferrets, almost 8 yrs, will need
his spleen removed promptly. The vet found a "grape-sized nodule" and on
it, and feels it should be removed. He will be going into the vet's in a
couple of to see if he can survive the surgery along with blood panel, etc.
He keeps loosing weight, but no hair, so I think the vet should do
exploratory surgery and removal of the spleen if he feels correct about
this. How do you feel?
