Subject: Re: Adrenal Ferret/Insulinoma

Beta cell tumors can be diffuse throughout the pancreas and it's my
understanding that they can be almost microscopic, so they may not
present as visible tumors on the surface.

I guess the next question is, what is Tango's blood glucose? Below
70mg/dl is a pretty good indicator of insulinoma.

left adrenal removed and his right one debulked. They both were
quite large the vet said. Before he went into surgery, I asked the
vet if he would check his pancreas for insulinomas...he had been on
Prednisone for a year (I have a new vet). Well, the surgery went
well and the vet informed me that his pancreas looked very normal in
color, size and no signs of insulinomas at all.
