Subject: Pneumonia
I recently read a post from someone who is decribing something
similar to what my ferret is going through. A couple of weeks ago my
ferret presented with high fever and dehydration. I took him to the
vet they gave him fluids and put him on antiobiotics which I am
supposed to give him for 10 days he is improving but still tired
allot and not eating and drinking like normal. The vet did say he
had fluid on the lungs and that he had pneumonia. How long will it
take before he starts acting normal or should I be concerned that
something else is wrong. His temp is getting better but on the high
end of normal. He is not coughing or gagging and does not seem to
have trouble breathing.
