Subject: Blood in Urine
Angel, my 6 m/o albino gib just urinated on the floor and it was
coffee colored. When I wiped it up with paper towel it was obvious
that it was blood in the urine. No change in appetite, no change in
activity, had he gone in the liter pan I wouldn't have known anything
was even wrong. The urine didn't have a smell and it was normal day
before yesterday when he urinated on the floor in the same place.
What's most likely? UTI? He doesn't mind being held or having his
abdomen tickled and he doesn't feel turgid. Ideas? At this point I'm
going to observe until the vet opens in the morning.
