Subject: Ferret Vaccines
OK after reading the wealth of information here on the net I feel
very
sheepish asking this question. I have a 3-4 year old ferret that
has gotten
2 sets of vaccines since i have had him both of the rabies vaccines
were
imrab 3 but the distemper vaccine was duramune puppy vaccine
(dhp/p). I did
not know that it was not approved for use in ferrets. Luckily I
have never
had any problems related to the vaccine. My question is should I
have him
revaccinated with fervac d and if so how long should I wait and what
protocal
should i use? His last vaccines were in October I think. Ill
double check
