Subject: Re: sick ferret/red nose

Hi Sue,
I've seen a pink nose turn red. It was accompanied by some other
things though. His foot pads, ears, around the eyes, and nose all
turned darker red. I asked on here about it and in Message #955,
Vicki responded about insulinomic ferrets turning red on occassion.
My boy was insulinomic, so this fit. She also included two photos of
her Buzz, showing the redness. Now, my boy has a pink nose, so it was
dar red, unlike her dark-nosed boy, but it shows the idea. Also, my
Trevor wasn't QUITE as dark as Buzz is in the photos. Maybe this will
help.
