I would caution to look for other causes too. I have seen probably
dozens of insulinoma ferrets in our shelter and have one of my own
right now (diagnosed three years ago this month)and and another that
is borderline and I have never seen a pink/red nose or skin. That's
not to say it's not a possibility, just don't overlook other reasons
and head right for a diagnosis of insulinoma as the cause.
