Our vets go for the jugular. I provide Ferretone from a small,
squeezable squirt bottle that has only a tiny hole which allows good
control and I scruff or otherwise restrain the head. A tech holds the
rear just in case. I increase the amount of Ferretone at the same
time that the vet puts the needle in and then continue feeding it
till vet is done. The bottle is up high so that ferret stretches the
neck right up there. Works very, very well.
