Subject: stool samples..............

My 3 yr old ferret, Bay, has been having some green slimy poops.
I've been watching them, and they happen about once a day, but on no
regular schedule. (It's been going on for about a week or so now)
Nothing has changed in his diet, or his eating habits. He plays just
like always.
I want to take a sample in to the vet, to run some tests, but, I am
not sure what I need to do with the sample, or what the time frame
is, to make sure it is "okay" by the time it gets to her.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Tracy
