Hi Janet,
There are 4+ ways of treating ear mites in ferrets.
Revolution (the cat 5-15lbs size)- 1 tube once a month applied
on the neck area. Repeat in 1 month
Acarexx- Clean the ears out then 1 tube into each ear
and repeat in 3 weeks.
Ivomec- Clean ears out, 1 injection or topically into ears
and repeat in 3 weeks.
Frontline spray 1 spray into each ear and 1 spray on the neck
repeat in 1 month Frontline or Frontline Plus apply 1 tube onto
neck area. Repeat in 1 month.
Other options: Otomite-plus ear drops into each ear daily for 3-4
weeks, Tresaderm ear drops into each ear daily for 3-4 weeks.
You do have to treat all the pets to get rid of ear mites.
