Vaseline (or other forms of petrolatum or petroleum jelly) are non-
toxic and can be used as a substitute. While I still find it hard to
believe, there are a lot of ferrets out there that love the stuff.

That's pretty much all Laxatone is - Evsco throws in some fatty acids
and iron, and a flavoring, but petrolatum is still the active
ingredient...
