Thank you for your response. I just found out from a neighbor that
she has been running around the neighborhood for about 2 months. The
neighbor had a hard time keeping her out of her garage.

The ferret likes human contact. I did see a flea on her when I first
picked her up.

Should I be worried about her passing along a disease to my dog & cat?
It is likely that my cat has been exposed to her outside. We have one
of those houses where the animals in the neighborhood like to
congregate.

What are some reasons why a ferret would lose hair?
