This is a very sound approach. Even though a benign skin tumor may
not result in metastasis, they can serve as a portal of infection,
and rarely, malignancies can arise from untreated neoplasms.
The best idea is always to remove tumors AND have them submitted for
identification. Too many vets just throw them away!
