There are problems, obviously, so...the research needs to be done,
the effort needs to be made...we're talking about health here.

That is true. There is also something called a rabies waiver that
*some* states, counties, cities...accept in leiu of a rabies shot.
Usually done when titers are ran or the animal is too sick to recieve
one...look on the material, it says it should only be used on a
healthy animal.
I don't know if *ANY* of it would apply to ferrets....all I am *trying*
to say is that it is something that should be looked into and
something that should be researched.

Actually, I wasn't even close to saying that. In the emergency
animal hospital that worked at this was a topic of discussion.
What I said about income was voiced *quite loudly* by 6
veterinarians that are all darn fine people and far from "money-
grubbing". They openly discussed over vaccination and that in
order to stop they would have to find a way to replace that income.

I'm a soon to be licensed vet-tech for cryin' out loud, vets pay my
salary, you won't catch me roasting them over a fire!!!! LOL
Let me say this though.....I look at any vet as a human first THEN
a vet. I get really snippy when people act like vets or human drs.
are gods. If I *ever* get snarky about a vet, I'm getting snarky
about them as a human. ~grin~
Say, it was Dr. Williams that helped me earn an *A* on my
"Gastrointestinal disorders of the ferret" oral and written report
about a year ago...though I doubt he recalls...eh Dr. W?

YES!! Whoo-hoo! That's exactly right...but they've been pushed
about quite sometime and they have their heels dug in deep!
Supply and demand...supply and demand.
Hmmm....maybe I should go into research instead of nutrition and
holisitic med. ~ponders~
