don't get the flu, but colds are a concern. Anyone know which is of

From what I understand ferrets can get the flu (influenza virus) from
humans and transmit it to them, I think they were (are?) used in research
on the flu because they are one of the few animals that can get it.
As far as colds, I think this is less likely.
