Subject: Hairballs
To Bob,
Just a small note which may reinforce part of your theory on
hairballs.
Hairballs are another thing that we don't see in ferrets here
in Western Australia, and I was only speaking about that fact
2 night ago to another committee member of WAFFS. We
discussed the probability of the tendon or sinew in the chunky
raw meat that we feed, *pulling* the hair through the
digestive tract.
Some of our members do confine their ferrets to cages and
because I make fake fur hammock to sell to ferret owners, I
know that many of them use fake fur as bedding. Still no
hairballs.
Just more grist for the mill.
