Subject: How long can I self-treat for hairball?
I have a ferret who seems to have a hairball. He goes
into the litter pan, squats, and nothing comes out.
Then he does the same, and a little comes out. He is
squatting a lot.
He is still playing and seems fine. I've given him
Petromalt. I want to know when I should become
concerned and go to the vet.
