Hi Sukie,
The fleece material may become a nidus and the hairball
forms around it. Or the fleece material may attach to the
hair that is already there. Either way if you notice fleece missing
then
remove it from the cage and use laxatone for a few days.
If you are having hairball problems then you might want to use
laxatone weekly. Also brushing daily and bathing more often may
help remove the hair before the ferret eats it.
