Subject: Taurine temp question
At what temperature (and at what lengths of time) does taurine
break down in meat?
as long as I'm going to have to work with chicken and other raw
meats from the store, I'm going to have to cook them enough to be
safe for myself (my illness can cause/does cause immune
abnormalities) but I want to preserve as much as I can.
I know a few people using a pressure cooker to cook whole
chicken they can then run through the blender, I've been
considering this too.
Getting to be spring around here...they're a lot more active, and
presenting challenges to me getting them to stay in their room
*heh*. I need bigger wood for runners, larger nails and heavier
plexiglass I think! They're having a blast though, and it's a lot of fun
