While I am not familiar with the therapeutic use of pumpkin pie
filling - I think that the combination of heavy whipping cream and
pie filling would be contraindicated in insulinomic ferret,. and it
also bears mentioning that the lactose present in whipping cream may
result in diarrhea in ferrets not receiving this treat on a regular
basis.
