Dr. Williams-

Thank you for such a quick reply. Mr. Jib's doctor is leaning in the
direction of a vascular tumor as well. He is going to do surgery tomorrow
morning. I asked Dr. XXXXX about doing a biopsy, but he felt that due to
the size (It's really big and growing) of the mass that we should just go in
and take it out as soon as possible. Hopefully I made the right decision.
Mr. Jib seems so frail. I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks again
for your ideas.

Rebekah

Dear Rebekah -

This is another case in which a photo would be really helpful. Of
course trauma should be considered, but I would also suggest the
possibility of a vascular tumor, such as a hemangiosarcoma. A biopsy
in this case may be helpful for Mr. Jib. As it sounds like an
interesting case, I would be happy to evaluate this sample for you
(of course, at no charge.) I'd also like to see some photos if you
can upload them to the group.

With kindest regards,

Bruce H. Williams, DVM, DACVP
