Not meaning this arguemenative just trying to sort it out.

Not doubting they might enjoy it... no doubt they would also
enjoy eating nothing but raisons and honey nut cheerios all
day ..... but I'm not going to do it just because they enjoy
it.
Enjoying it and having a psychological or phisological NEED to
do it are two very different things.

Okay.. I do have a problem with that... you state your concern
that the mouse was well cared for/happy while alive etc... yet
I feel that subjecting them to be tortured for fun is not
humane. I have the SAME belief as you express... and have fed
live prey to animals with no problem... but I believe in
humane conditions for food animals and a clean death. I don't
see how giving it to a ferret as a play toy is humane to the
mouse?
