Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] Big Baby Boy

I know in my crew there is often very large differences in size and body
tone. It is just genetics.

Stan the Man is fairly lean and weighs in at a little over two pounds.
George, on the other hand, is a whopping 4.5lbs and is a chub. Both are laid
back and don't play much.

Both are Marshall Farms and have eaten the same diet for 5 years.

Look at your Baby Boy and check his shape. Hold him up and see if his sides
are straight or pudge out at the bottom.

I also know that many of my ferrets were much fatter as babies than they
ended up being later on. He is probably still carrying baby fat and fat from
the winter.
