Yeah, I agree. Because of our "relationship" a pet store here
did let my teen daughter go back to pick out her own mice for
her ball python. She was soooo disgusted. 5 gallon fish tanks
with 100s of mice stacked in them, live and dead together, no
food or water, partially eaten bodies. It was sick.
Thankfully, since we are in a "ranch" area, one good law we
have regards the humane treatment of animals meant as food. We
reported him and he got in trouble, cleaned it up... but 6
months later, bak to the same conditions.
After that, my daughter took to breeding her OWN mice.
