i spoke to someone by the name of yoli at extension 5227 for the pet insurance policy. they will be able to start writing policies for ferrets on april 16 or 17. she is maintaining a list of people to call back who want the insurance. it's $11 per month per ferret, will not cover any routine procedures or exams, will cover injuries and diseases, although she's not sure yet what the percentage of coverage will be. ast 11 per month, if it covers anything at all, it will be a blessing.
