Feeding a balanced and complete food is the only way to stabilize
their
condition. The problem with many homemade mixtures, and this
includes the
various "duck soups" is lack of both nutrient balance and
completeness of all
required nutrients. These ferret's immune system is also depleted.
Feed them a balanced food like Totally Ferret. If you need to mix
this with
your duck soup then make it to whatever consistency you need to get
them to
eat it. Then gradually, decrease the liquid until they are only
eating the
kibble.
You will see a dramatic difference in a week or two.
