Subject: Insect Stings
Question. With summer coming on, there will insects aplenty.
What are the problems or complication if a ferret gets stung
by something like a bee, wasp or hornet?
Last year a breeder friend of mine lost a kit who was stung by
a hornet... granted I am taking into consideration that the
kit was only 5 weeks old.
But can ferrets be affected by them?
If they are stung, what would be the course of action?
Benedryl immediately? How much? Then go to vet?
What would be proper procedure?
