i spoke to someone by the name of yoli at extension 5227 for the pet
insurance policy. they will be able to start writing policies for
ferrets on april 16 or 17. she is maintaining a list of people to call
back who want the insurance. it's $11 per month per ferret, will not
cover any routine procedures or exams, will cover injuries and diseases,
although she's not sure yet what the percentage of coverage will be. ast
11 per month, if it covers anything at all, it will be a blessing."
Most of the insurance is set up to cost a bit more, than if you just
saved the money each month and had it when needed. It would be great if
it covers adrenal surgery, insulinoma, lymphomas. Maybe they don't know
how many problems ferrets can have, or probably work on the law of
averages. FOr example, if only 10% of ferrets get ill by age 5, then
they will cover to that age, figuring 100% are paying and only 10%
collecting.
Well, it is best to keep this site a secret, anyone from the company
comes here they will cancel the whole thing right away.
