Hi Lisa,
Sudden blindess in an insulinoma ferret can also
be caused by cataracts. The low glucose levels can
cause cataracts, and rarely even pred can cause cataracts.
Yes the insulinoma starts in the pancreas and it can but rarely does

spread to the lymph node. Now that the surgery is over it is
important
to monitor his glucose level to see if he will need medication(s) or

another surgery in the future. It will be interesting to see what
the path
report says about that lymph node.
