Hi,
No, when I took the little ferret to the vet. I never did introduce her to
my ferrets at home. She is in a separate cage. I talked to the vet today.
I asked her if it was okay for the cage to be in the ferret room. She stated
it could not be passed that way. I have the little ferret upstairs at the
moment. As far as the store. Thursday night I put some albon in their
water. I was off today, but I talked to the vet. We had to prescribe
something for the little girl. I stopped and checked the poop of the ones at
work. They appeared okay. I notified MF by e-mail and they got back to me
at 3.30pm and were closed at 4pm. I was kind of suprised that I heard from
them today. I will contact them first thing Monday morning. I usually do
not work Monday's. This will give me time to get all the info I need. I
have to deal with opposition from work when aiding sick pets. But, that's
why I work there. The little girl is doing so much better tonight. I am
going to take a 3 hour nap and get up to see if she wants to eat and drink.
I never go to work early, but due to spring break I go in at 8 am. I want to
make sure she is taking care of nutritionally by the time I go to work and
take a break around 12.
Hopefully, this is a isolated situation. But, I don't know. It's kind of
hard to take care of a sick one at home and worry all day about the ones at
work. Hopefully, the information I passed on at work will get done. But, I
seriously doubt it.
I will be able to make sure the others are eating and drinking water tomorrow.
