In the past 36 hours, she has eaten none of her dry kibble.
She is still alert and everything. Having only had her for a
week, I can't really tell you if she has had a change in
activity level. She could be a little less active, I thought
she was just a sweet, calm ferret. She comes to my foot and
sits on it until I pick her up. I made duck soup with 2 drops
of children's kaopectate for the diarrhea. I didn't have to
force it on her, she just ate 2ccs.

Does anyone have any ideas what is going on? I realize that
the diarrhea could be from the stress of moving around and
getting separated from her playmate. But the mouth thing has
me really worried.

I couldn't make out the video too well, but it looks like
exactly what my ferret did when he had the suspected ECE. He
had the diarrhea, then vomited after one day he needed SQ
fluids because he continued to gag everytime he ate or drank.
What he would do was try to take a little water then start
gagging, running his mouth along the side of the carpet, or he
would run into the litter box and rub his mouth all along it,
and then paw furiously at his mouth. It was awful to see,
even if I forced him a little pediatyte, or ferretone he would
act like it was killing him. He did well after a night of SQ
at the vet, and a few weeks of care that included an
anti-ulcer med,and bland diet. I am told the pawing at the
mouth is a sign of nausea. In his case he had no visible
ulcers, take a good look in the ferret's mouth for any signs
of ulcers and get her to a vet for a good exam.
