There are very valid reasons for feeding a "duck soup" which does not
include kibble. GI tract damage due to ulcers, disease, etc. This is
not folklore. Yeah, all those weird additives are rarely needed, and
I wouldn't use them, but sometimes it only matters that the ferret is
eating and not dying. I'll be politically correct on diet later,
when the ferret is still alive and able to be put back on a proper
diet.
