Hi Millan,
You are correct. If part of the ovary is left
(ovarian remnant) in when a female is spayed
then it will produce estrogen during the breeding
season just like an intact female's ovary would.
Yes the ovary would be responding to FSH and LH
just like an intact female would be.
This happens here in the US, but it is a rare problem.
